There are a number of opportunities to work with the team on various projects across the UK.
Running Schools Events
We are developing a model for trainees and surgeons to organise and run school events on behalf of Opportunities in Surgery and their Trusts. This work is currently in development and more information will follow.
Volunteering
We need people to teach basic suturing skills and give careers presentations either at with the team or on behalf of us at events.
If you are interested in supporting these ventures email stating your grade and location. We have opportunities for medical students, surgeons and trainees.
Sourcing Speakers
If you need a Surgical Speaker for an event we can help. Please email including specific dates, location, length of talk, rough timings and topic. Please bear in mind that Surgeons plan their diaries in advance so appreciate lots of notice and need a minimum of 8 weeks to re-arrange clinics.
