Affiliates Research Day
The 2012 Research Day will be taking place on Wednesday 27th June. This day will be exclusively for members of the Affiliate Scheme.
The College runs a research day for at the College in London once a year. The event is designed for medical students and foundation trainees, helping to introduce them to the fundamentals of medical research.
The morning sessions will cover aspects such as:
- An introduction to research
- Academic Clinical Fellowships
- Higher degrees
These are followed by a series of rotating workshops including
- Ethics
- Research & development
- Critical appraisal
The fees are:
Medical student affiliates - £35.00
Foundation & Core affiliates - £40.00
This will include all the events of the day and a hot buffet lunch.
