WinS

Throughout medical school, you will probably be surrounded by women, as currently in most medical schools, the majority of students are female. However, historically, relatively few of these have decided to become surgeons. This is a shame as there are many very successful women surgeons who find their careers both enjoyable to and fulfilling.

WinS (Women in Surgery) aims to encourage, enable and inspire women to fulfill their surgical ambitions. You can become a member of WinS (for free) as soon as you become a medical student. For more information, visit the WinS section.
