Surgery in Schools Events

In order to facilitate as many sessions for pre-medical students as possible we have devolved responsibility to our Surgical Societies who have been successfully running the Sugery in Schools Programme regionally.

The Surgery in Schools programme is aimed at year 12 and 13 students interested in a career in medicine and surgery.

They consist of:

  • Practical sessions
  • Talks from Surgeons
  • Opportunities to meet Medical Students

Each Surgical Society has a Schools Coordinator who is responsible for organising these events. Email us to find out more or if there is an event already running in your local area.
