Women in Surgery

When compared to other grades within surgery, there is a relatively high proportion of women in the SAS grades. You may find it interesting to visit the Women in Surgery section, which will provide information on issues affecting female surgeons more than their male colleagues, and will give you the opportunity to make contact with other women in surgery.

Women in Surgery (WinS) is a national organisation working to promote surgery as a career for women and to enable women who have chosen a career in surgery to realise their professional goals.
