Women in Surgery

During your years in medical school and in your training to date, hopefully you have met at least a few successful women surgeons. However, there are relatively few women currently in surgery when compared to other medical specialties.

Women in Surgery (WinS) is a national organisation working to promote surgery as a career for women and to enable women who have chosen a career in surgery to realise their professional goals.

You may find it interesting to visit the WinS section if you would like to met other women surgeons or to discuss your future career as a surgeon.
