Throughout your career you will need to balance a wide variety commitments and you may find it useful to seek support and advice on some of these.

You can find careers information and advice on this website, and you can email us.  You may also find useful careers information on sites including Modernising Medical Careers and the Intercollegiate Surgical Curriculum Programme. In addition to this, you deanery or School of Surgery might also be able to help you.

Trainee organisations including ASiT and BOTA provide a range of information for trainees of all levels. Specialty Associations can also often provide specialty specific information.

If you have queries about your terms and conditions of employment, the BMA will be able to assist.

Similarly, medical defence organisations such as the MDU and MPS provide indemnity cover and support to doctors throughout their careers. The Wesleyan group also provide a range of financial service s and advice.

Websites including Doctors.net and Support4Doctors also provide a ranges of information and support on a variety of subjects including financial advice and clinical concerns.
